Adaptive Reuse

As part of a group project, I worked on the conversion of an old, dilapidated building in the historic village of Nahouk in Sistan and Baluchestan Province into a tourism residence. To achieve an interesting harmony between modern and traditional materials, we used copper-sheet alongside the more traditional materials of adobe and mud. The color-coded design of the building blends in seamlessly with the surrounding village. My specific contribution to the project involved researching how to repurpose the building and working on the sections.
